Car Rental System

About the project

I developed an interactive online car rental system as a solo project, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, and JSON. The platform allows users to browse and search cars by type or brand, check availability, and make or cancel rental reservations. I implemented dynamic features such as asynchronous data loading via AJAX, session-based reservation persistence, and real-time availability updates using JSON and MySQL. User input validation and exception handling were built in to ensure a seamless user experience. For data management, I designed a structured JSON file to store car details and integrated a MySQL database to handle rental orders. The site was deployed on AWS Elastic Beanstalk, showcasing my ability to build and deploy full-stack web applications with rich interactivity and robust backend integration.
